Zen Space

About Zen Space

ZenSpace is an online meditation space designed to help our community continue practicing together when we are not at the meditation center in person. It offers a calm and simple path into home practice, with the focus on actually sitting rather than browsing content. Through optional voice guidance, a gentle timer, and a shared meditation field where practitioners appear as avatars, ZenSpace allows people to experience a sense of remote group sitting and quiet collective practice from home. It also offers an accessible first step for those who feel drawn to meditation but are not yet able to come to the center in person, giving them a way to begin practicing, learn the basics, and stay connected until the conditions are right for in person practice.

ZenSpace also supports practice beyond the meditation session itself. It includes basic teachings, space for reflection and community exchange, and information about meditation centers across the United States so that online practitioners can more easily find opportunities for in person practice when they are ready. At the same time, it helps users build a steady meditation habit by recording meditation sessions and practice time, with gentle gamification that allows a beautiful lotus flower to blossom through consistent daily practice. In the future, ZenSpace will continue growing with features such as virtual companion pets that can accompany users in meditation, making the path feel more warm, alive, and sustaining.
